Portreath is one of the easiest destinations to get to in the South West of England. You can travel in a variety of ways by car, rail and air. The fastest way into and out of the West Country remains by air, and this is no longer the privilege of the wealthy: Ryanair fly from Stansted to Newquay, Air Southwest fly several flights per day from Newquay and Plymouth to Gatwick, from where onward connections are available to a wide range of destinations.
You can also put your feet up and let the train take the strain from Paddington to Redruth with First Great Western.
