How to get there

Appin is easily accessible and lies just off the A828. Glasgow, Stirling, Perth and Inverness are approximately 95 miles away. Other approximate distances; Edinburgh 115, Carlisle 200, Manchester 300, Hull 350, Birmingham 400 and London 500.

Travel Tip
When coming from the south on the M6/M74 head for Stirling on the M73/A80. Take the M9 for Perth, exiting for Stirling at Junction 10, taking A84 heading for Crianlarich, finally on to either the A82 or the A85.

Situated with one of the finest outlooks in this area renowned for its beauty, Appin Holiday Homes lie midway between Oban and Glencoe, (with Fort William a few miles further north), making this the ideal touring base for comfort and convenience in the Highlands.

There is lots to do and see around the Appin area, with pony trekking, Sealife Centre, licensed inn, Castle Stalker nearby. Fishing is free, (salt and freshwater). Boat hire available. The busy town of OBAN with supermarkets, Leisure Centre, golf, cinema, and island ferries just 20 minutes or so away by car.

The Timber Lodges are built to a high standard, being warm and welcoming at any time of year. They blend perfectly with the beauty of their surroundings, and within the landscaped policies are wonderful level, hill, and shoreline walks. There is an imaginative play area and for the romantic wishing to play at 'wee houses', a luxury caravan can be offered in a magical setting right on the lochside.
