How to get there

FROM THE EAST Travel along the M4 Motorway to junction 45. Take the slip road down to the roundabout, around the roundabout, and take the road signposted to Pontardawe - A4067. Follow this road straight up the valley, passing a number of rounadabouts. When you come to a roundabout signposted on the left to Cwmtwrch and to the right to Ystalyfera, carry straight on (signposted to Brecon) for 200 yards and you will see Ystradgynlais (Ynyscedwyn Business Park) signposted to the right. Turn here and on to a mini roundabout where turn left. Follow road across the river bridge to a staggered crossroads in the middle of Ystradgynlais. Turn right by Barclays Bank to a T-junction. Bear right. Carry on up the hill through a series of bends. There is a telephone kiosk on the left and the entrance to Ystrad Isaf Farm is 20 yards up the hill on your right. FROM THE NORTH. If you travel down from the Midlands via Brecon, you will travel on the Sennybridge/Llandovery road and you must turn on to the A4067 Swansea Valley road signposted to Swansea/Ystradgynlais/Pontardawe. Drive down the valley, then you have two options: 1. When you come to two mini roundabouts near Caerbont, you can bear left which will take you to the centre of Ystradgynlais. Barclays Bank will be on your left at the crossroads. Turn left and follow as above. Or 2. At the mini roundabouts carry on down the valley until you see the sign to Ystradgynlais via Ynyscedwyn, turn left here an follow the instructions to the town centre as above. FROM THE NORTH EAST. If you travel down via Monmouth/Abergavenny/ you will need to take the A465 towards Merthyr Tydfil and follow this road, staying on the heads of the valleys road through Hirwaun and follow the road towards Neath. As you approach the village of Glynneath on the dual carriageway come off at junction . You will pass under the motorway and head towards a set of traffic lights. Straight on at the traffic lights following a long straight road over the hills until you come to a Y junction with the main A4067. Bear left down the valley and follow instructions as "From the North" above
