How to get there

From the A1 - When leaving the A1 at the Catterick Junction follow the road signs to Tunstall. Once in Tunstall, proceed through the village and out of the other side. There is then a sign post to Hipswell to the right (this is only just out of Tunstall village), turn right there. Follow this road approximately half a mile and the road bends off to the right. Just before the bend there are two driveways next to each other on your left, take the first driveway. There is then a place to park at the top of the track on the left (which is the entrance to the park) or come down to the bottom.

Badger’s Retreat Holiday Park is nestled within a secluded valley at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Set amidst its own private and tranquil grounds, the park is surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife, while giving access to explore and enjoy the many varied aspects of the local area, creating the perfect place to escape and relax.

Give yourself time to retreat and unwind in the peaceful surroundings of the Yorkshire countryside. Stroll around the medieval city of Richmond that is just 3 miles away from the park, or visit Leyburn and Bedale that lie just to the south. If you are looking for more action then you can try walking, fishing, golf or shooting that are all available locally. However, if that is all too energetic then you can simply just relax with a glass of wine on your balcony, listening to the birds singing whilst the sun sets over the valley.
