From Exeter continue on the A30 through Launceston and Bodmin. Approximately 20 miles south of Bodmin, the road will ascend a steep hill to a roundabout. (Look out for windmills on the right!) A couple of miles the other side of this roundabout there is a right hand turn signposted Perranporth. Follow this road through Goonhavern to Perranporth.
On reaching the town proceed straight along the main street until you see Lloyds TSB bank in front of you. The B3284 bears left, up Liskey Hill, and you will pass the primary school and police station on your left. Continue along the B3284 for about 1.5 miles and turn right at the signpost for Perrancombe. As you come down the narrow hill the road will bear to the right. On this corner take the sharp left hand turn signposted Leycroft. Proceed with care along this narrow stretch of road and Leycroft Valley can be found about 1 mile along on the right.
