We offer a host of on-park facilities which will provide endless hours of fun for the whole family.

The children will love making a splash in the indoor heated pool at Riverside and there’s a spa bath too, the perfect place for the adults to sit and relax. The swimming pool is open daily and there’s parent and child sessions weekly, check with the park reception for full details

The Cheviot Hills are a walker’s paradise and are just a stone’s throw from the park. Miles and miles of stunning Northumberland countryside can be explored by joining a route from Riverside. We have detailed information and maps available from the park reception.

Just a short stroll from the main park you will find The Riverside Bar, the perfect place to enjoy great food and a fantastic selection of drinks. For the sports fans there’s Sky Sports. There’s also free WiFi available so you can enjoy a coffee and check your emails whilst the children play in the games room with arcade.

If you’re looking for the ideal location for your country retreat, you’ve just found it. Riverside Leisure Park sits on the southern edge of the quiet town of Wooler, on the border of the Northumberland National Park, by the Cheviot Hills. It is a popular base for walkers and is referred to as the “Gateway to the Cheviots”. It lies on the St. Cuthbert’s Way long distance trail between Melrose Abbey and Lindisfarne.

Should you want to explore off-park there's so much to do and see right on your doorstep. The charming market town of Wooler is just a stone's throw away whilst Northumberland National Park and the delightful beaches along the coast offer miles of outstanding walking and cycling routes. What's more, the fantastic range of attractions include tranquil gardens, railway museums and the original Hogwarts location, Alnwick Castle providing something for the whole family whatever the weather.

How to get there

From the South Follow the A1 north to Morpeth and take the A697 to Wooler and Coldstream. As you enter Wooler, Riverside Leisure Park is on your left hand side. From the North/Scotland Follow the A1 south from Berwick-Upon-Tweed, and take the first turning right signposted Wooler (the B6525 Berwick Road). At the end of this road turn left through Wooler town, following the road to the A697 (Morpeth). The park is situated on the right hand side on the south west outskirts of the town.
