Owner's Description
OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND, we are ideally situated for exploring the Lake District, Pennines, Eden Valley and Scottish Borders. With so many attractions, places of intrest and beautiful countryside, you're never at a loss for something to do.
Within 4 miles of our park we have a golf course, golf range, fishing, horse riding, bowls, swimming, tennis, a sports centre and lots of lovely walks.
The market town of Penrith is 2 miles, Lake Ullswater 4 miles and Keswick 14 miles. Within walking distance are a couple of pubs, a farm shop and the Rheged Centre.
For many people however, the attraction of Stonefold is the facilities it doesn't have. No bar or club, games room, no ball games, an absolute ban on loud music and a special quiet time between 11pm and 9am. We the owners live on-site and are committed to maintaining a site where respect for the comfort of
our owners is of paramount importance.
